Licensed Social Worker
Ezra Crowson received their Master’s in Social Work with a Certificate in Mental Health, Addiction, and the Family from Tulane University in 2022 and has been conducting therapy within a variety of settings ever since.
Ezra is a queer, Autistic therapist who is committed to offering person-centered, LGBTQ+ affirming, trauma-informed care that is holistically centered. Ezra believes that the foundation of anti-oppressive care requires the preservation of the client’s right to self-determination within the therapeutic alliance. Ezra is passionate about Neurodivergent self-advocacy and utilizing psychoeducation to increase understanding of Neurodivergent trait presentation within family systems. He has counseling experience with individuals, families, groups, and couples, and has previously worked in school, clinic, and in-home service environments.
Ezra takes an eclectic approach to providing therapy, utilizing techniques from Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Emotional Freedom Technique, Narrative Therapy, Polyvagal Theory Informed Psychoeducation, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trust-Based Relational Intervention, Gottman Method and other modalities to provide personalized care.
Ezra also loves to help their clients find a sense of safety within their bodies by relying upon somatic techniques and teaching somatic coping skills. Ezra is currently working on a RYT 200HR yoga instruction certificate and enjoys bringing his knowledge of breathwork and body-based mindfulness into his therapeutic practice.
Before entering the mental healthcare field, Ezra received a Bachelor's of Fine Arts from the University of Tulsa. Ezra has relocated to Colorado to pursue opportunities in the psychedelic therapy industry and is thrilled to be working at Kairos Wellness Collective to provide Psilocybin-Assisted Treatment alongside traditional therapy and ERP. Ezra is deeply invested in continuing to explore the connection between autism and psychedelics as a breakthrough therapeutic option.
When Ezra is not at Kairos, you can find him volunteering within the community, embedding himself in nature, pursuing creative projects, and spending time with his two dogs, Winston and Margaret.
