Kaila Jantz

Kaila is a Licensed Social Worker who shares a space at Kairos Wellness Collective. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Human Development from the University of California, San Diego and a Master of Social Work, with a concentration in mental health and trauma, from the University of Denver. Kaila has experience working in higher levels of care (IP/RES) with individuals presenting with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, substance use, and trauma. She also has experience working with families, Veterans, and individuals suffering from chronic illness. 

Kaila has a client-centered approach to treatment and is skilled at helping people feel safe and supported in their journey to discover the most authentic version of themselves. She believes that there isn’t a one-size fits all approach to therapy and strives to incorporate a variety of therapeutic modalities to fit client specific needs and goals. Some of these approaches include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) , Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).

Kaila is passionate about supporting individuals with OCD and is particularly interested in perfectionistic and relationship subtypes of OCD, as well as, OCPD.

She also has experience treating Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD), as well as, Anorexia Nervosa (AN-R, AN-BP), Bulimia Nervosa (BN), and Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID).

Kaila is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW.009924670) in the state of Colorado.
